Yüksel Göktürk
Chairman of the Board
He was born in Sivas in 1955. He is a member of one of the oldest families of the steel industry in Turkey. Göktürk family started iron and steel trade in Persembe Pazari in 1954.
He graduated from Marmara University with a major in Mathematics.
He worked at Gokturkler Celik between 1968 and 1976 during his high school and college educations. In 1976, he founded Yukselen Celik in Persembe Pazari. In 2005, he took over the management of Gokturkler Celik. Currently, he continues to serve as the Chairman of the Board of both Gokturkler Celik and Yukselen Celik.
Having been on the arbitration committes of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce since 1980, he also served as the Chairman of the Iron and Steel Committee and a member of the Assembly of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce between 2005 and 2013.
In 2014, he became a member of the Turkish Jockey Club and in 2018 he was elected into the Board of Directors of the Turkish Jockey Club.
Burak Göktürk

He was born in Istanbul in 1985. He is the third generation member of the Göktürk family that has been operating in the iron and steel industry since 1954.
He graduated from Uskudar American Academy and Istanbul University with a major in Economics.
Between 2010 and 2012, he received an MBA education from the University of California Irvine with a merit scholarship. There he served one term as the President of the International Students Club. During his education, he carried out academic studies in Shanghai and Hong Kong within the Global Trade Committee.
In 2012, he worked at Yukselen Celik as a Finance Officer and an Export Specialist respectively. He has been working as the Managing Director of Gokturkler Celik since 2013. He is still a member of the Board of Directors of both Gokturkler Celik and Yukselen Celik.
He speaks fluent English.
Barış Göktürk

He was born in Istanbul in 1982. He is the third generation member of the Göktürk family that has been operating in the iron and steel industry since 1954.
After graduating from Saint Benoit French High School, he studied Business Economics at the University of California Santa Barbara.
He is currently the General Manager of Yukselen Celik which he started as Sales Specialist in 2005. Today he continues to be a member of the board of directors in both Gokturkler Celik and Yukselen Celik.
He is a member of the National Mold Manufacturers Association (UKUB) and the Defense Aviation Cluster (SAHA).
He has been serving as the Chairman of the Executive Board of the International Metal Expo Eurasia Fair since 2018.
He speaks fluent English and French.
